I don’t know if I just didn’t feel inspired when looking for a tag this time, or whether it’s due to reaching the point where I’ve done a lot of them or the questions are similar, but I struggled this time. I looked at a couple but my mind went blank as to what the answers would be.
If you’re coming across some great tags at the moment, please let me know – I’d love to find some new ones!
Anyway, I stumbled across the TBR tag on Booklovingnut‘s blog and this one did catch my attention – and make me feel a little sheepish about my own TBR pile. I figured what better what than to try and organise it by answering some questions on it:

How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
Um… I don’t? My netgalley shelf guides a lot of my TBR but other than that, I honestly just go by what I feel like. Which is why some books don’t make it onto the list before I’m reading them and others just sit there for a very long time and I forget about them.
Is your TBR mostly print or e-books?
E-books. Between digital ARCs and picking up Kindle bargains, I’m dreadful at just continuously adding to my TBR with e-books. My physical pile stares at me too accusingly – I’m better at controlling that one!
A book that’s been on your TBR list the longest?
Oh heavens. Well, technically I’ve got one published in 1930 about King Arthur that I really need to get around to reading, so I’m guessing it would be that one!
A book you recently added to your TBR?

Ah this is easier! The Finding by Jenna Elizabeth Johnson made it onto the list just earlier today, so I don’t have to think too hard with that one!
A book in your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?
Pass on this one. I’ll be honest, I’m a sucker for choosing books because of their covers, so there are probably multiple answers. A beautiful cover draws my attention, and then the synopsis makes me go that one step further.
A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading?
Ooh I should have left my free pass until this one. Hmm… Probably The Gunslinger by Stephen King. I’m not a fan of horror or getting scared so I don’t tend to go for his books and I can’t remember why this one is on my TBR to be honest…
An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for?
This is a tricky one for the opposite reason – there are several I’m looking forward to. At the moment, I would pick The House of Lamentations by S.G MacLean – the next in a historical fiction series that I’ve been loving recently.
A book on your TBR that basically everyone’s read but you?
There’s a few of these as well. The more a book is hyped, the longer it takes me to get around to reading it. There are several but I think I’m going to pick T.H.U.G. Don’t get me wrong: I’m desperate to read it but somehow just still haven’t done it!
A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?
There’s a lot that gets recommended when there is a new release and everyone is reviewing it. But I’ll have to pick Dan Brown’s work – all of it to be honest. I think I’ve read one of them a while ago but that is it and I’ve had a few people say that they are well worth the read.
A book on your TBR that you’re dying to read?

Kind of the same answer as everyone’s read but you, and most looking forward to. At the time of writing this though, I’d pick The Burning White by Brent Weeks – although I know I’ve mentioned that in a few posts recently.
How many books are on your Goodreads shelf?
I don’t really use my Goodreads TBR shelf to be honest, so only about 100. Compared to the number of books I’ve actually got waiting for me, that’s nothing. Hmm maybe that should be a challenge this year to sort that out…
And there we have it.
How about you? What does your TBR pile look like? Let me know – or do the tag for yourself!

This was fun to read, it’s nice to see what your process is and all the outliers on your TBR. Thanks for sharing!

Fun post! I’ve been a reader forever, but I just recently started keeping track of a TBR pile on goodreads. Before that, I just tried to remember everything I thought looked good 😂

I love these sort of tags! I haven’t done one in ages – although they probably wouldn’t fit on my blog any more. They were fun when I did do them! I still haven’t read T.H.U.G either although I adored the film! Xxx

They’re always my go to but I’m struggling to find new ones now! I loved the film too so really looking forward to reading it.

I love tag posts although I haven’t done one myself in years! I really like that half your list is ebooks as I’m trying to ease myself into reading more ebooks x
